ชื่อนิทรรศการ: ทิวทัศน์อุปมา

นิทรรศการศิลปะ ทิวทัศน์อุปมา คือ นิทรรศการที่จัดแสดงผลงานศิลปะที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจ หรือ มีแนวความคิดที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาพทิวทัศน์ รวมถึงประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสิ่งแวดล้อมและปรากฏการณ์ทางธรรมชาติ ซึ่งเป็นผลงานที่มีลักษณะในเชิงอุปมาอุปไมย เช่น การเปรียบเทียบภาพทิวทัศน์กับความคิด ความรู้สึก และ ประสบการณ์ โดยอาจจะมีลักษณะในการถ่ายทอดที่เป็นนามธรรม มากกว่าการแสดงออกด้วยภาพทิวทัศน์ที่มีลักษณะตามความเป็นจริง พร้อมทั้งรวมไปถึงผลงานศิลปะที่มีการเปรียบเทียบวัสดุ หรือ ทัศนธาตุทางศิลปะ ที่อาจดูคล้าย หรือ เกี่ยวข้องกับภาพทิวทัศน์และธรรมชาติ ในอีกแง่หนึ่ง โดยปกติคำว่า ภาพทิวทัศน์ อาจชวนให้เรานึกถึงพื้นที่ภายนอกที่กว้างใหญ่ แต่ภาพทิวทัศน์เชิงอุปมาอุปไมยในนิทรรศการนี้ อาจชวนให้เรามองย้อนกลับมาสู่พื้นที่ภายในที่เป็นนามธรรมของตนเอง เช่น จิตใจ อารมณ์ ความรู้สึก ความคิด ความทรงจำ และ ประสบการณ์ เป็นต้น นอกจากนั้น ผลงานในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้อาจชักชวนให้เราตีความต่อความหมายของคำว่า ภาพทิวทัศน์ ให้มีความหมายที่กว้างขึ้น หรือ อาจมีความหมายที่แตกต่างไปจากความเข้าใจเดิมของเรา

โดยนิทรรศการนี้ได้จัดแสดงผลงานศิลปะจากศิลปินทั้งหมด 9 คน จาก 4 ประเทศ ได้แก่

Title of exhibition: Metaphorical Landscapes

Metaphorical Landscapes is an international art exhibition that draws inspirations from the idea of landscape, natural environment and natural phenomena. Exploring these notions metaphorically, the artworks attempt to juxtapose landscapes with mentalities, sensations, and experiences, while experimenting on materials and abstract visual elements that resemble landscapes or relate to nature. On the one hand, when we talk about landscapes, it is usually the vast exterior spaces that come to mind. On the other hand, metaphorical landscapes might induce us to look at abstract spaces within us, for instance, cognitions, emotions, ideas, memories, and experiences. Through the various metaphorical portrayals of landscapes, the exhibition hopes to encourage audiences to interpret and perceive landscapes differently from their former understandings.

This art exhibition presents the artworks of 9 artists from 4 countries:
