Chiang Mai Art Conversation และ TERATOTERA Festival 2020 Collective- The next generation of symbiosis มีความยินดีเรียนเชิญท่านเข้าร่วมการสนทนาออนไลน์โดยศิลปินไต้หวัน ฮ่องกง และไทยซึ่งใช้ศิลปะเพื่อการขับเคลื่อนทางการเมือง

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้มุ่งสนทนาเกี่ยวกับศิลปินในกลุ่มประเทศพันธมิตรชานม ซึ่งเป็นการรวมใจกันของกลุ่มประเทศในท้องถิ่น เพื่อต่อกรกับกลุ่มอู่เหมาหรืออีกชื่อหนึ่งคือกองทัพ 50 เซนต์ (ตัวป่วนชาตินิยมจีนในอินเตอร์เน็ต) ตลอดจนเพื่อรับมือกับอิทธิพลที่กลุ่มอู่เหมามีมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆในประเทศบ้านใกล้เรือนเคียง

ภายใต้บริบทการเมืองที่เอาแน่เอานอนไม่ได้ในสามประเทศนี้ ศิลปินจำนวนหนึ่งได้เข้าร่วมการเคลื่อนไหวทางการเมืองในระดับต่างๆกัน โดยแต่ละท่านล้วนแล้วแต่มุ่งแสดงการสนับสนุนเพื่อนำไปสู่การสร้างระบอบประชาธิปไตยที่แท้จริง อีเวนต์ครั้งนี้จะทำให้ท่านเข้าใจว่าศิลปินเหล่านี้ตกอยู่ในสถานการณ์เช่นใด และพวกเขาใช้กระบวนการทางศิลปะใด และหวังจะเห็นอนาคตเป็นอย่างไร การสนทนาออนไลน์ของเราเป็นแพลตฟอร์มเพื่อให้เหล่าศิลปินได้ร่วมแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ ตลอดจนแลกเปลี่ยนจุดยืน เพื่อก่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจในสถานการณ์ที่ศิลปินแต่ละท่านเผชิญอยู่ เราเชิญศิลปินประเทศละสองท่านเพื่อร่วมพูดคุยแสดงความคิดเห็นในครั้งนี้

Chiang Mai Art Conversation and the TERATOTERA Festival 2020 Collective - The next generation of symbiosis is pleased to invite you to an online talk by artists from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand who use artistic practices to drive political movements.
 

The talk will focus on the artists in three Milk Tea Alliance countries, initial regional solidarity in response to the increased presence of Wumao (Chinese nationalist internet trolls), and China's growing influence on its surrounding regions as a consequence.

In the current uncertain political situation in these three countries, artists take part in the movement to different degrees, each with their own way of expressing support toward the genuine implementation of democratic systems. What are the situations they find themselves in? What practices do they use? What do they aim for in the future? This talk is a platform to share these experiences and exchange standpoints to understand each other’s conditions. For this reason, we invite two artists in each Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand to give their opinions on the matter.

We encourage all participants and audiences to prepare a cup of milk tea of your choice. Let’s drink a toast together!
