With no associated fees, highly experienced and passionate staff and a dynamic range of international partners, Artist Residency Thailand is one of Southeast Asia’s most progressive artist residency and development programmes.
With time for both work production and skills development, we are proud to offer wide-ranging facilities and support to participants and pride ourselves in creating bespoke residency experiences for all of our guests.
The programme focuses on three key areas:
1. Providing a supportive, well-resourced and inspiring environment, that encourages productivity, creativity, networking opportunities and reflection
2. Providing support, guidance and mentoring in the development of workshop leaders and the conception of workshops and master classes
3. Providing opportunities to develop approaches to creative development with young people and fostering a wider understanding of best practice in international, creative education.
The residency was founded in 2012, after consultation between Creative Education consultant Alex Soulsby and Mom Luang Tridhosyuth Devakul's institution, Traidhos Three Generation and the Prem Tinsulanonda International School
