It is a private collection of Thai collector, Dr. Disaphol Chansiri. The place was a residence of a Shan’s royal family member before become Disaphol’s residence in Chiang Mai. He built an exhibition room later at a garden residence. The collection is in a compound of the owner of the residence. The exhibition's duration usually is at least 6 months to rotate to a new one.
